More Very Cool Weather and A Great Meal

Virginia Beach, VA.

50 deg. overcast, S. wind @ 8 mph.
Forecast = Today: Mostly sunny. Highs around 70°F. South southwest wind 8 to 18 MPH, gusting to 22 MPH.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows around 54°F. Windy, with a south wind 17 to 23 MPH, gusting to 28 MPH. Chance of precipitation near 35%.

It was real cool here in Virginia Beach again yesterday, with temps only getting up to the lower 50's for most of the day and strong winds blowing the cold air around. Linda did 3 loads of laundry in Nancy's washer and dryer and Jim helped carry the basket and laundry back and forth.

For dinner, Nancy cooked an excellent meal of chicken breast, noodles, a sauce to go over the noodles and chicken, and green beans.

Today, Jim is going to tackle the electrical connector on the back of Bobbie T. He charged the batteries for his cordless drill yesterday so that he could drill some new holes to mount the connector in a different location. Hopefully the job will go smoothly and it won't take him too long to get CLT's lights working.

This evening, the plan is to order some pizza for dinner. Then, because Sami is graduating for High School this year and we won't be here for the ceremony, Jim and Linda will give her a graduation gift. I know what the gift is, but I'm not telling because sometimes Sami reads this blog.

I'm sure she'll like it though and will be able to use it when she heads off to Virginia Tech this fall. ; )

Did you know that, founded in 1872 as an agricultural and mechanical land-grant college, Virginia Tech is a research university with the largest full-time student population in Virginia?

Woof!!!
