Catching Up and We're Back At Highbanks

DeBary, FL.
Highbanks Marina & CG
67 deg. clear, no wind.

Forecast = Sun and clouds mixed. High around 85F. Winds ENE at 10 to 15 mph. 10% chance of rain.

Saturday and Sunday, Linda still wasn't feeling too well, so not a whole lot happened around the house. Jim took Big RED and went to Winn Dixie and bought a bunch of groceries and he and Linda did a couple loads of laundry and then watched the NASCAR race Sunday afternoon.

I don't know if Lina was actually feeling any better or not, but yesterday morning, she told Jim that she'd like to head to Highbanks and spend some time there. She said that she was sick and tired of just sitting around the house and wanted a change of scenery, so she and Jim started packing things up. Being that they now have most of the things that they need at the trailer, it wasn't too big a job to pack up a few things and head over here.

By about 1:00 we were pulling up in front of the trailer and Jim was carrying stuff inside and Linda was putting it away.  After that, they both took a nap. ;-)

So, how long are we going to stay here at Highbanks?  I have no idea!!!! We don't have to decide that today. Unless something happens, I'm sure we'll be here for awhile, probably around a week.

The weather here hasn't been too bad. We're getting into what they're calling "The rainy season", so we're starting to have rain showers, (usually in the afternoon), just about every day. Of course this raises the humidity, so it's been getting really muggy some days. This will continue all through the summer.

Nothing much else to report, so I guess I'll quit for now. I'll be sure to let you know if anything exciting happens. ;-)

A Point to Ponder:  The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.

  1. Sorry that Linda feels poorly, but it's nice to get a change of scenery!
